Finance officer may proceed on FCA retaliation claim
A federal District Court in Pennsylvania has allowed a university director of student financial services to proceed with a suit for retaliation under the federal False Claims Act when she was terminated after complaining about inaccurate reporting in connection with claims for federal education funds. The Court has refused to grant a motion to dismiss the complaint because the allegations presented a “plausible claim” for retaliation.
