A federal District Court in Pennsylvania has refused to disqualify an attorney who previously served briefly as general counsel and a member of the board of directors of a nonprofit foundation from representing a defendant in a defamation suit brought by the foundation. The Court has concluded that the matters on which the attorney previously gave advice were not the same or substantially related to the defamation case.
