A teacher may pursue a complaint of religious discrimination against a Catholic parochial school when her annual teaching contract was not renewed after 20 years of service at the school, a federal District Court in Oklahoma has ruled. But it has granted summary judgment for the school against the 63-year-old teacher on an age discrimination claim. Martha Lou Braun, an Episcopalian, was not renewed as a teacher at St. Pius X School operated by St. Pius X parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulsa.
